Today I had a new problem with Blackberry Desktop software install on Win8.
The install was fault, because missing and wouldn't install the Windows .NET 3-3.5 version. (I don't remember wat was the necessary pack.)
The sollution was the following:
Insert the Windows installation media, and need to enable the .NET 3.5 feature, because in Win8 and Windows Server 2012, the .NET Framework 3.5 is a Feature on Demand. When you enable this feature, Windows tries to contact Windows Update to download the missing information to install the feature.
Need an Administrator command prompt, and the following command:
C:\>Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:E:\sources\sxs
/LimitAccess
Source:E - your DVD drive.
After this you can install the Blackberry software.
